Rosanne van Dekken

Rosanne represents clients in corporate litigation as well as in commercial mediation. Her practice focuses primarily on corporate governance disputes, Enterprise Chamber proceedings, director's liability cases and complex commercial litigation. Rosanne has an academic background in both psychology and law and combines her legal‑strategic expertise with a deep understanding of board dynamics. Rosanne is a lecturer on corporate governance in the highly regarded Nyenrode Supervisory Board Program, and a regular contributor to COBE (the specialized Dutch online publication on corporate litigation, directors’ liability and inquiry proceedings).

  • Representation of a Dutch semi-public organisation in directors’ liability proceedings against its former board members.
  • Representation of the majority shareholder and directors of an international family-owned company in the food sector in Enterprise Chamber proceedings, as well as in evidence seizure and disclosure proceedings.
  • Representation of the CEO of an international microfinance company in Enterprise Chamber proceedings relating to a contemplated IPO.
  • Representation of a partner and founder of a private equity fund against co-partners in preliminary relief proceedings and in mediation.
  • Representation of an international NGO in a shareholder dispute with its African joint venture partner in an impact investment fund.
  • Lawyer of various court-appointed directors in Enterprise Chamber proceedings.

  • Other work experience

    Rosanne previously worked as a corporate litigator at Allen & Overy (2013-2018). She was also legal & operations manager and secretary to the board at the Adessium Foundation (2018-2019).
