Marcel Evers
Marcel Evers represents corporates, shareholders, directors and supervisory directors in corporate law disputes and urgent crisis situations. He also deals with a wide range of commerical disputes and liability cases. Marcel frequently litigates before the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal, the civil court and in arbitration. He is also frequently appointed by the Enterprise Chamber as an investigator or custodian of shares in inquiry proceedings. Marcel is the editor-in-chief of the Journal for the Corporate Law Practice.

- Represents all Dutch Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Škoda dealers in the diesel case regarding vehicles with EA 189 diesel engines.
- Represents the investment funds OGF Luxco and Social Impact Ventures in the dispute about the sale of Marqt to Udea Beheer.
- Represents Burford Capital and various institutional investment funds in response to the announcement of accounting irregularities at furniture giant Steinhoff.
- Represents bondholders in the indemnification proceedings prompted by the nationalisation of SNS Reaal.
- Represented Finmeccanica (the former parent company of AnsaldoBreda) in the dispute with NS and NMBS regarding the Fyra V-250 trains and the settlement reached.

Other work experience
Prior to the launch of Evers Soerjatin, Marcel was a founder of and partner at De Breij Evers Boon (2005–2017), and a lawyer with De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek (2000 – 2005). Since 2008, Marcel has been on the editorial board of the Tijdschrift voor de Ondernemingsrechtpraktijk (Journal for the Corporate Law Practice).
