Jessica de Rooij
Jessica advises and litigates in complex and cross-border commercial and corporate disputes. Her areas of expertise include collective actions and settlement. A secondment at a large Dutch bank and numerous years of working experience in a banking and insolvency practice have also equipped Jessica to advise on financial disputes.
Examples of work
- Represents all Dutch Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Škoda dealers in the class action for the Stichting Volkswagen Car Claim.
- Represented the Supervisory Board of SRK and the Vereniging Groep Rechtsbijstandverzekering (Dutch association for group legal assistance) in their dispute regarding the cancellation by Nationale-Nederlanden and Aegon of their membership and participation.
- Represents a brewery in an international dispute with one of its distributors resulting from the termination of a contract.
- Leaderland: represented the temporary director appointed by the Enterprise Chamber and the Leaderland company.
