Camiel Boersma

Camiel represents companies, shareholders and their executive and supervisory directors in corporate litigation matters, such as inquiry proceedings before the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal, shareholder and transaction disputes, and liability proceedings.

Examples of work

  • Representation of a state-owned oil company in enquiry proceedings and arbitration proceedings concerning grand corruption and the unlawful acquisition of shares.
  • Representation of a foundation that provides guarantee services in proceedings regarding damages due to alleged insufficient supervisory oversight.
  • Representation of Telegraaf Media Group’s Board of Directors before the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal in the matter of the takeover conflict with Talpa/Mediahuis.
  • Other work experience

    Before joining Evers Soerjatin, Camiel was a lawyer at DLA Piper (2015-2019) and Cleber (2019-2022).
