Boris Kik

Boris represents clients in commercial and corporate law disputes, liability proceedings and inquiry proceedings before the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal.

Examples of work (also at his previous firm)

  • Representing a minority shareholder in an inquiry before the Enterprise Chamber in a dispute with a private equity majority shareholder concerning the majority shareholder’s abuse of governance powers.
  • Representing a seller in an asset/liability transaction in an earn-out dispute with the buyer.
  • Representing a joint venture partner in binding advisory proceedings, summary proceedings and proceedings on the merits concerning compliance with the joint venture’s governance.
  • Representing a seller in a share transaction in a dispute concerning alleged fraud.

    Before joining Evers Soerjatin, Boris practiced law in the litigation practice of Houthoff (2024-2026) and was lecturer at the University of Utrecht.
